Graphical 2D Frame Analysis is free and open-source software for analyzing 2D and portal frames using the stiffness and matrix method. Developed in C#, it is ideal for students and teachers in civil and structural engineering. Full source code is available on GitHub and SourceForge.
Features
Axial force, shear force, bending moment, displacement, absolute displacement diagrams/graphs, and tables with values. Any point value of graphs can be shown by moving the mouse.
Draw beams, columns, supports, loads, and intermediate hinges graphically.
Frame with spring support, inclined and guided roller supports, intermediate hinges, and support displacement.
Outputs: All matrices, load vectors with indices, support reactions, global displacements, and local forces.
Open-source, C# implementation, Windows OS compatible.
